Funeral services for Teddie Lorenzo McKeithen, 81, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Johnny Hankins officiating. Entombment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.Mr. McKeithen died Monday, December 7, 2015, at his residence. Teddie retired as a Composer from the News Star. He was very artistic and enjoyed videoing his children and grandchildren at their birthdays, recitals, ballgames, and any other activities. He also loved playing video games with his grandchildren. Mr. McKeithen was preceded in death by his parents, Teddie and Lucille McKeithen.Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Nellie Johnston McKeithen; children, Tommie Church and husband, Jerry, Steve McKeithen, Douglas McKeithen and wife Susie, Tedi Marie Jolley and husband Brad; grandchildren, Stefanie Stewart and husband Brandon, Sean McKeithen, Kristen McKeithen, Hunter Jolley, Tanner Jolley, and Drake Jolley; great grandchildren, Jaxson and Lilly Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Larry Johnston, Mike Nappier, Jeff Pipes, Brad Jolley, Jerry Church, and James Nappier.Visitation will be from 12:00 PM Noon until service time Wednesday in the chapel.Memorials may be made to The Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
