Funeral Services for Ted H. Everett, Sr. 72, of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday May 31, 2010 at Community Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Everett was born on July 17, 1937 and passed away on May 28, 2010 at his residence in West Monroe. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church in West Monroe. Mr. Everett was a retired Louisiana State Trooper and member of the Louisiana State Troopers Association, the American Legion and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Clyde and Geroline Everett; brother, Johnny Wayne Everett; and grandson, Christopher Everett.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Everett; daughters, Betty Moreau, Debra Dufour and husband Clyde, Judy LaCombe; sons, Ted Everett, Jr. and wife Rose, Donald Everett and wife Jerri; step-sons, Richie Wedrall and wife, Angie, and Danny Wedrall and wife, Jana; sisters, Peggy Canter and husband, Sam, and Carolyn Meschell and husband, Lenard; brothers, Jerry Everett and wife, Lynda, and Robert Everett and wife, Judy; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Ted Everett, Jr., Donald Everett, Paul Holzem, John Holzem, Dustin Dufour, Brandon Moreau, Ken May, and Bill Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald Black, Ronald Black, and David Holzem.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday May 30, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Community Baptist Church Building Fund.
