Tammy Louise Chauvin Coon

Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Louise Chauvin Coon, 63, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at North Monroe Baptist Church, Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, February 4, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Coon was born August 1, 1958, in Port Sulfur, LA, and passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She loved flowers, her grandchildren dearly, and her three spoiled dogs, Pixie, Lil Bit, and Tallulah Bell.

Mrs. Coon was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Harvey Chauvin; daughter, Kyra Dawn Coon; and father-in-law, Henry Coon, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Coon; son, Davide Coon and significant other Jessica Wolfe; daughter, Tayler and James Burns; sisters, Deborah, Angalda, and Yvette Chauvin; grandchildren, Derek and Dylan Coon, Lucas Burns, Audrey and Olivia Wolfe; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean and husband Rufus “Bob” Gaubert; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Davide Coon, James Burns, Riley Williams, Brady Williams, Lenny Morel, and John Hermers, Sr.
