Sybil Mae Shivers

Graveside services for Sybil Mae Shivers,90, of Monroe will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Epps Cemetery in Epps, LA with Rev. Lloyd Barnett officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.

Mrs. Shivers was Born on December 4, 1930 and died on January 7, 2021. She was a precious soul, loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a wonderful cook and genuine friend. A member of St Mark’s United Methodist Church with a heart for God, Family and Friends. She had a servant’s heart, a True Southern Belle.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Shivers; siblings, Dwain Tharpe, Frances Woodard, Jackie Hammer; and parents, Ray and Nell Tharpe.

Survivors include sons, Ray and Kent Shivers; daughter-in-law, Mayleng Shivers; grandchildren, Maya and Ethan Shivers, and Brandon Bloomer; Nephews, Randy Hunnicutt, Bobby Lee Adams, Steven and Michael Tharpe, and Mark and Michael Fuller; nieces, Melanie Blair, Cindy Lacy and Cherie Anyan.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hunnicutt, Ethan Shivers, Mark Fuller and Mark Anyan.
