Susan Warner Dillon, 73, of Lockhart, Texas passed away suddenly surrounded by family on Monday, January 24, 2022. Susan was born August 27, 1948, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Robert "Bob" Warner and Yvonne Hynum Warner.
Susan graduated Ouachita Parish High School in 1966. She received her LPN from Northeast Louisiana University and also worked for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Department. Susan was a woman of deep faith. She loved her family and her friends. Susan was friendly and kind to everyone. She never met a stranger.
Susan is lovingly remembered by her family. She is survived by her children Kristi Mehrens (Dock) of Rosharon, TX, Laura Nelson (Robert) of Mequon, WI, Charles Turnage (Stacy) of Jena, LA, Ben Jewell of Columbus, MS and stepson Michael Dillon of Rosharon, TX; 11 grandchildren, Jack, Jessica, Charlie, Jeremy, Bailey, Alyson, Tate, Liam, Slate, Ava and Olivia; and 1 greatgrandchild, DeLainey. She is also survived by her brother, Robbie Warner (Kathy), niece and nephews, relatives, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Dillon, her loving parents, Bob and Yvonne Warner, Uncle P.A. Poag, Aunt Faye Poag, Uncle Glen LeBeck, Aunt Marna LeBeck, her cousins Alec Poag, and Robert Montpas.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church in Monroe, Louisiana.
