Susan Marie Heller

Funeral services for Susan Marie Heller, 74, of Southaven, MS, formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Monroe, LA with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Heller died Thursday, June 22, 2017, in Southaven, MS.
Susan was born in Napa, CA on February 21st, 1943 and grew up in Monroe. She attended Ouachita Parish High School and ULM, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. Susan married George Edward Heller on December 20th, 1966, and remained a loving wife until his death on June 14th, 2005. Susan was a homemaker, but enjoyed volunteering with various organizations in the community.

Mrs. Heller was preceded in death by her parents, Armster Aubre Quimby and Bette Florence Simpson; and husband, George Edward Heller.

Survivors include her daughters, Erin Fontenot and husband, Terry, Sasha Yarbrough and husband, Kenneth, Beth Romano and husband, George; sons, Matthew Heller and wife, Toyyah and Michael Sean Heller and Christie Lopez; grandchildren, Melissa Hardy, Joseph Romano, Gregory Romano, Michael Romano, Cody Heller, Kaegan Heller, Sean Cameron Heller, Tyler Sanders, Mariah Sanders, Zachary Yarbrough, Gabrielle Fontenot and Jared Fontenot; great grandchild, Nolan Hardy; sisters, BeckyVogt, Shari Chadderdon, Joan Graff and Paula Moudy; and brother, David Quimby.

Pall bearers will be Terry Fontenot, Jared Fontenot, Tyler Sanders, Kaegan heller, Cody Heller, Sean Cameron Heller, David Vogt and Kenneth Yarbrough.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a vigil wake at 6:00 PM, Monday, June 26, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
