Services for Steven Wayne Cowart, 40 of Girard will be at 10:00AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home with Jeramiah Andrews officiating, Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Steven was born on January 1, 1978 in Monroe and died at his residence on May 28, 2018. He was an avid fisherman, loved to go to the Rocks and campout, loved the outdoors, and hunting. He loved his family, spending time with his granddaughter, Ella, and his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Green Cowart.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Thresa Doll Cowart; daughter, Nikki Johnson and husband Ricky of Farmerville; son, Steven Eric Wayne Cowart of Rayville; granddaughter, Ella Claire Oliveax; brother, Michael Cowart and wife Cassondra of Pineville; two sisters, Milissa Bell and husband Richard of Hot Springs, AR and Melody Walkens and husband David of Hot Springs, AR; mother, Rhonda Banks Cowart of Hot Springs, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cedric McGinnis, Ray Kenly, Ricky Johnson, Steven Cowart, Jimmy McLemore, and Trey McLemore.
Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00PM Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
