Services for Stanley Robert Douciere, 87 of Rayville will be held at 10:00AM in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rayville Monday, September 29, 2014 with Father Philip Puzhayakari officiating. Interment will follow in the Douciere Cemetery on Hwy 561 under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.Mr. Stanley was born on July 25, 1927 at home and passed from this life on September 25, 2014 in the Richardson Hospital in Rayville, LA. He was a retired farmer and longtime operator of Richland Gin with Bob Chapman in Mangham, LA. He graduated from LSU with an electrical engineering degree. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents-J. U. and Cora Barnett Douciere and a brother-J. U. Douciere, Jr.He is survived by his sister-Kathryn Douciere; a brother-John Douciere and wife Debbie; sister-in-law-Betty Douciere; a niece-Kathryn E. Douciere; a nephew-David G. Douciere and wife Karen; and a great nephew-Daniel James Douciere.Pallbearers will be Joe Chapman, Don Smith, Levy Lord, John Kreymer, David Douciere, and Dr. Richard Douciere.Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00PM Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
