Graveside service for Stancil Westbrook Savage, 97, of Lafayette, LA, formerly of Monroe will be held 10:00AM Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Taylor Cemetery, Farmerville, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mrs. Savage was born on March 17, 1923, in Tigerbend, LA, and passed away on July 11, 2020, in Lafayette, LA. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by her parents, Stancil Westbrook, Sr. and Amma Edwards Wyatt; husband Mabry “Doc” Savage; son, Glynn Wayne Savage; brother, O.D. Westbrook; and sisters, Etta W. Taylor, Lokile W. Peters, and Gloria Jean Wyatt.
Survivors include her daughter, Jan Savage Warner and husband Nelson; son, Michael Dupree Savage and wife Susan; grandson, Michael E. Savage; two granddaughters, Michelle Savage and Kristy Savage Davidson; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, Harry “Doodle Bug” Wyatt and sister, Boyce Ann Wyatt Hulen.
Pallbearers will be Michael E. Savage, Jacob Wayne “Jake” Savage, Nickolas “Nick” Savage, Stacey Savage, Lucien Savage, John Larry Savage, and Ranny Pratt.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
