Funeral services for Stacy Carter Pickering, 28, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at First Christian Church with Rev. Craig Ferguson and Rev. Johnny Albright officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Pickering died Monday, November 30, 2015. Stacy was a 2005 graduate of Neville High School where she was a cheerleader, soccer player, enjoyed cross country, and was an officer of Lambda Sigma Chi Sorority. Stacy worked for several mortgage companies and attorney offices, loved sports, hunting and being outdoors, fun family trips, and shopping (especially Rustico!) but her biggest joy was being Bailey’s mommy and spending fun times together with her.Mrs. Pickering was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey D. Carter; grandfather, W.A. “Bill” Burford; and grandparents, Carole and David Carter. Survivors include her husband, Robert Pickering; daughter, Bailey Carter Pickering; parents, Dianne and Tim Carter; mammaw, Alice Rae Burford; `uncles, Billy Burford, Lee R. Burford, Ken F. Burford and wife Brenda, Rick Carter and wife Nancy, and Kerry Carter and wife Diane; brother-in-law, Ray Pickering and wife Crystal; sister-in law, Jennifer Pippin and husband Vernon; mother-in-law, Cathy Pickering; father-in-law, Patrick Pickering and wife Roxann; and numerous cousins.Pallbearers will be Jason Aycock, Brad Cochran, Lee Deal, Ben Logue, Jason Miller and Ryan Watts.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.Memorials may be made to the Benefit Account for Stacy Carter Pickering at Progressive Bank or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
