Funeral service for Mr. Sidney Stokes, 81, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe with Rev. Matt Coker, Mr. J.R. Wells and Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Stokes passed away on December 12, 2016, in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Paron Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Millie Stokes; son, Dennis Lane Stokes; daughter, Patricia Lynn Holland; granddaughters, Shelley, Kelly, Denni, Addie, and Emma Stokes; grandsons, Nick, Nale and Nate Snowdy; and stepchildren, Rodney Spook Cook, Shelly Cook and Terri Smith.
Pallbearers will be Perry Eppinette, Glenn Nale, Jerry Patton, Randy Upchurch, Tristan Vandegevel, and Glenn Smithwick. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hobson, Burl McGee, Joey Neitz, Gary Dunham, and Romey Hicks.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
