Shirley Marie Nobles Smith

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Marie Nobles Smith, 79, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cherry Cemetery in Mangham, LA.

Mrs. Smith was born March 17, 1940 and passed away on February 23, 2020. She was member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, and being a social butterfly, visiting with everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Audrey Miller Nobles; brother, Jim Nobles; and sister, Linda Nobles Kinison.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Marshall; two grandchildren, Amber Marshall and Anthony Marshall; five great-granddaughters; two sisters, Charlotte Rowland and Beth Roark; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Nobles, Ronald Nobles, Dock Kelly, Mark Kinison, Ray Kinison, and Brian Nobles.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Oaks Nursing Home and Elara Caring Hospice.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
