Shirley Mae Nappier

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirley Mae Nappier, 96, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 12, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Lori Spangler officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time.

Mrs. Nappier died August 9, 2021 at Ouachita Health Care and Rehabilitation after a brief illness. Mrs. Nappier was a member of the Claiborne United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA. She was employed with the News Star World.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Autrey, her husband, James L. Nappier and her son, Michael A. Nappier.

Survivors: Son, James H. Nappier and his wife, Leslie; Daughter, Carolyn Hunt and her husband, Harold, 9 Grandchildren, Nicole Goins (John Michael), Trey Hunt, Mike Nappier (Kimberly), Greg Nappier (April), Sherry Currington (Tim), Chris Nappier, Windy Culp (Brandon), Chase Nappier (Malissa), and Emily Tolbird (Chris); 19 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chase Nappier, Greg Nappier, Andrew Nappier, Mike Nappier, Chris Nappier and Trey Hunt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Storm Nappier and Ridge Nappier.
