Shirley B. Easterling

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley B. Easterling, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Tony Cassels and Rev. Ricky Boone officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe.

Mrs. Easterling was born September 22, 1936 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 26, 2021. She attended Centerpoint Baptist Church. Mrs. Easterling took care of many children while working for Mini Scholars Child Care Center. She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, spending money, especially shopping, video poker, but more importantly spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Noelie Bizette; husband, Clyde B. Easterling; eight siblings, Carroll, Roger, Lawrence “Toot”, Earl “Boy”, Mildred, Thelma, and a set of twins; and great grandson, Dyllan Herring.

Survivors include her six children, Carolyn Taylor, Mike Chenevert (Elizabeth), David Chenevert (Donna), Sandra Robertson (Barney), Randy Johnson (Andrea), and Cheryl Johnson; 13 grandchildren, Steven Taylor (Tracy), Shawn Taylor, Shannon Herring (Tommy), Lisa Pappas (James), Christine Dunn (Richard), David Chenevert, Brandon Chenevert, Casey Sistrunk (Jason), Niki Nooner (Chris), Mark Edmonson, Tiffani Johnson, Joseph Johnson, and Melissa Johnson; 13 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Rodgers, Richard Dunn, Jason Sistrunk, Scott Thomas, Randy Dodson, and Joseph Johnson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jim Graham.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to Centerpoint Baptist Church.
