Sharon Ann Sanson

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Sharon Ann Sanson, 70, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Evangeline Baptist Church, Jonesville, LA, with Rev. Curtis Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Evangeline Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanson was born on August 8, 1948 and died on January 2, 2019. She was a retired deputy, who served over 25 years, with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office. Mrs. Sanson loved listening to music, attending concerts, and reading. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, but most of all spending time with her grandson.

Mrs. Sanson was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice Smith Duck; son, Joey Sanson; and brother, Lloyd Duck.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Buster Sanson; daughter, Kelly Holder and her husband Joey; son, Tony Sanson and his wife Kim; grandson, Drew Sanson; brother, John Duck and his wife Aline; sister, Sue Huff and her husband Wayne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, and 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday at Evangeline Baptist Church, Jonesville, LA.
