Shane Edward Harvey

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Shane Edward Harvey, 48, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Christ Church West Monroe with Pastor Tom Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Shane was born September 20, 1971 and went to be with his Lord and Savior December 28, 2019. He was reunited in heaven with his father, Dr. Robert Edward Harvey and mother, Virginia Watson Harvey. Shane had a BA in Criminal Justice and proudly served as a Ouachita Parish Sheriff Deputy. Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Dara Harvey; son, Robert Edward Harvey II and girlfriend, Jordan Payton; daughter, Alexa Harvey; brothers, Mike Harvey and wife Darla, Kevin Harvey and wife Sherry; sisters, Janet Mullis and husband Steve, Jolene Roberts and husband Davey, JoDee Murray and husband Johnny; in-laws, Darrell and Ellen Harveston; brother-in-law, Greg Harveston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Peters, Kent Chapman, Dennis Rodgers, Chris Ellington, Rick Jones, Joel Cobb, Jordan Davis, and Joe Castagnetta.

Honorary Pallbearers will be any friends of Shane and brothers in Christ.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Christ Church West Monroe.
