Mrs. Selma Coyle Tarver
Baskin, LA
Aged 92, Life-long resident of Franklin Parish (Baskin), passed away 26 Nov. at Charlyn Nursing Home, Winnsboro.
Mrs. Tarver was a member of Eastern Star, Mangham Chapter #152 where she served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of Mangham Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Cecil Coyle of Baskin, her first husband, and Ed Tarver of Mangham, her second husband of 33 years.
Survivors include: Son: Jarrell C. Coyle and wife, Alice of Houston, TX. Daughter: Jannie C. Housewright and husband Al, of Palm Harbor, FL. Grandchildren: Pattie Housewright of Tampa, FL; Larry Coyle of Houston, TX; Cindy McCoy of Raleigh, NC; Paul Housewright of Lake Worth, FL; Jennifer Lunsford of Houston, TX; Brian Hurst of Jackson, TN; Denise Makepeace of Lacrosse, WI; and Susan Green of Houston, TX. Eight nieces and one nephew. Nine Great Grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro, LA will Rev. Rick Aultman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Coax Cemetery, Baskin, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Pallbearers will be: Frank Smith and the loving grandchildren of Mrs. Tarver: Pattie Housewright, Larry Coyle, Cindy McCoy, Paul Housewright, and Jennifer Lunsford.
