Sean Garner Thompson

Sean Garner Thompson, known by his friends and family as “Thompi”, left this world on April 3, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Sean was born to Dee Thompson and Dean Thompson on April 15th, 1984 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe, Louisiana. Sean grew up in Monroe where he attended Ouachita Parish High School where he graduated in 2002. From there, Sean attended Louisiana Tech where he obtained his B.S. in Business/Finance. Sean’s unique fashion sense and love for his friends and family can never be matched. His smile was contagious, his loyal heart was always in the right place and no matter the time or place, Sean would drop everything to help the ones he loved.
When Sean wasn’t working as a Financial Advisor, he enjoyed traveling, attending music festivals, spending time with his dogs Leto and Lexie, and being with the ones he loved.
He is preceded by grandfather, Levins Thompson; uncle, Grady Thompson.
Sean was survived by his mother, Dee Thompson; father, Dean Thompson and wife Rita; uncle, Bob Hayes and wife Shirley; aunt , Dorothy Fay Norris and husband Joe; niece, Tomi Ballard and husband Aaron; grandmother, Gail Thompson; aunt, Lea Holubec and husband Paul Holubec; uncle, Ross Thompson and wife Cathi; uncle, Mike Thompson and wife Bessie; aunt, Jo Thompson; uncle, Clint Thompson and wife Douglas; stepsisters, Beth Roberts, Becky Pilkington, and Lynn Kirby; as well as several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Nick Wilson, Joey Lee, Davey McGaugh, Clint Causey, Corey Simmons and Josh Varnado. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Burns, Jr., Trey Reed, LaMario Gayton, EJ Walker, Jack Dunbar, Chris Florey and Kenyoung Taylor, Sr.
Visitation will be held at the Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana, from 5-7PM, Saturday, April 8th, with the service being held at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel at 2PM, Sunday, April 9th, with Rev. Lynn Wilson officiating. The internment will be held at 4PM in Green Grove Cemetery in Strong, Arkansas following the service.
