Scott Baxter Smith

A private graveside service for Mr. Scott Baxter Smith, 69, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 14, 2024. at Clark Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bill Smith officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. 

Scott was born on December 3, 1954, in Monroe, LA, and passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2024, in Winnsboro, LA, following a brief illness. He was trained as an electrician, but there was no construction task he couldn’t master. 

Scott was preceded in death by his parent, Billy and Dorothy Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Smith; sons, Brian Smith and Adam Smith (Meena); four grandchildren, sisters, Sharon Williams (Kenneth) and Sarah Clement; brother, Mike Smith (Nancy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
