Saundra Lynn Franklin

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Saundra Lynn Franklin, 81, of Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday November 5, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana, with Rev. Warren Ekhardt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M., until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Franklin was born on May 17, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on November 3, 2023, at the St Joseph’s Assisted Living in Monroe, Louisiana, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Franklin was a member of the North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. She volunteered with the St. Francis Ladies Auxiliary, with over 30 years of service.

Survivors: sons, Ray Franklin and his wife, Pam, and Terry Franklin and his wife, Theresa; sister, Mrs. Gale Kirkpatrick; Grandchildren, Austin Franklin, Chase Franklin, Tyler Franklin, Kara Franklin, Amy Tucker and husband, Jim, Grace Franklin, Matthew Walker and his wife, Jennifer; Great Grandchildren, Allie Walker, Maddox Walker, Bella Hargrove, and Summer Tucker; numerous nieces and nephews and a very special niece, Misty Pene; and nephew, Wayne Webb; and adopted son, John Tucker.

Pallbearers will be Chase, Austin and Tyler Franklin, John Tucker, Jim Tucker, Matt Walker, and Maddox Walker.
