Sarah Hendricks Grant

Funeral services for Sarah Hendricks Grant, 88, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at First Methodist Church of West Monroe, with Rev. Shawn Hornsby and Rev. Chris Winterman officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Sarah worked for the Ouachita Parish School System for forty-four years before her retirement. She started her career teaching at Drew Elementary School and retired as principal at Woodlawn Elementary School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Dale Hendricks; son, David Hendricks; and sisters, Armande Kennedy and her husband, Bob and Kay Wilkins and her husband, Carver.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Henry Grant; sons, Jeff Hendricks and wife, Sara, Mark Hendricks and wife, Debra, Mitch Grant and wife, Kimberly, and Ken Grant and wife, Traci; grandchildren, Lance Hendricks and wife, Missy, Beth Hendricks(Matt), Kevin Hendricks and wife, Rachel, Matthew Hendricks and wife, Jordan, Katie Haley and husband, Philip, Amy Boyette and husband, Ben and Wayne Hendricks; Madeline Grant, Hannah Grant, Gretchen Grant, Faith Grant, Eric Grant, Philip Grant, and Braden Grant; and seventeen great grandchildren.
