Sarah Fatheree

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Perot Jones Fatheree, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 27, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road, with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.

Sarah Perot Fatheree rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings on January 22, 2021, at the age of 92 years old. Sarah was born on April 18, 1928 to Overton and Etha Mae Perot in Harrisburg, Louisiana.

Sarah has always been the pillars that held our family up and the glue that has kept us all bound together. Despite the size of her large family, Sarah always made time for her 12 children and everyone else. Sarah’s greatest Love was her family!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Overton and Etha Mae Perot; former husband, Vernon Jones; husband, Clyde Fatheree; daughter, Diane Swayze; sons, Donald W. Jones, Richard Jones, and James Jones; brothers, Willie Perot, and Dave Perot; sisters, Marie LaBorde, and Marcella Franks; grandson, Christopher Roberts; great grandchildren, JC Paulman, and Ashley E. Bailey.

Sarah is survived by her children, Ethel Brossett and husband Wilford, Billy Jones and wife Terri, Ricky Jones and wife Diann, Bobby Jones, Johnny Jones, Eugene Jones, Danny Jones, and Betty Scott; sister, Lessie Jones; daughter-in-law, Maria Jones; stepchildren, Rhonda Fatheree, Tim Fatheree, Clyde E. Fatheree; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbeaeres will be Danny Jones, Eugene Jones, Gary Jones, Josh Jones, Brian Jones, and Dillon Jones.
