Funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Everlene Gorman Westerburg, 81, of Homer, LA, will be held 1:00PM Saturday, April 28, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. with Dr. David Peterson and Rev. Floyd Duchesne officiating. Interment will follow in Coax Cemetery in Baskin, LA.
Mrs. Westerburg passed away on April 25, 2007, at her residence. She was a resident of Monroe from 1959 until 2002 when she moved to Homer with her family. Mrs. Westerburg attended Pleasure Point Baptist Church in Homer. She raised her children and grandchildren, and took care of all of her friends. Mrs. Westerburg was preceded in death by her husband John T. Westerburg.
Survivors include her three children, Peggy LaRowe and husband Randy; Mevelene Clark and husband Gene; and Brenda Burch and husband David all of Homer, LA; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Young of Winnsboro, LA; and brother, Mack Gorman of Fort Cobb, OK.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Pruden, Barry Burch, Shane LaRowe, Courtney LaRowe, Mike Word, and Don Taylor.
Visitation will be from 5:00Pm until 8:00PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
