Sarah C. Lambert

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah C. Lambert of Rayville will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville with Rev. Charles Ellzey officiating. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery in Rayville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lambert was born January 13, 1930 in Mangham, LA and passed from this life on August 30, 2020 in Mer Rouge, LA at the age of 90. She loved arts and crafts, especially painting, and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ardes Clarence Lambert; her parents, Jesse and Daisy Stephens; her brothers, Ralph Stephens, Paul Stephens and Earl Stephens; and one sister, Martha Nell Stephens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, William A. Lambert and wife, Fannie of White House, TN, Cathie Reyna and husband, Rudy of Raymondville, TX, and Wayne Lambert of Rayville; one sister, Rebecca Bryant and husband, Glen of Rayville; one brother, Gene Stephens of Rayville; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
