Funeral services for Sara Charlotte Nowell Williams, 92, of Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 2010, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Dr. Larry Stafford officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Williams passed away April 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by two husbands, James A. Nowell and Joe Williams; three children, Jimmy Nowell, Judy Starnes, and Barbara Ann Nowell; three grandchildren, Ricky Nowell, Karen Brettschneider, and Kiley Treadway; four brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Penny Wright and husband Carl of Houston, TX and Joan Lasuzzo and husband Wayne of Slidell, LA; son, John Nowell and wife Debbie of Monroe, LA; sister, Teen Brower of Wadesboro, NC; ten grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dan Wright, Rob Nowell, James Nowell, Nikalous Wright, Justin Wright, Nolan Lamar, and Johnny Impson. Honorary pallbearers will be Amy Wright, Suzanne Sandoval, Jason Lasuzzo, and Scott Kicey.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
