Sandra L "Sandi" Russell

Memorial services celebrating the life of Sandra Louise Russell, 69, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday July 14, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. Duane Amis officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time and due to the CoVid 19 requirements, capacity limit will be followed, and masks are required.

Sandi died July 10, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Sandi and her husband were owners of Russell’s Hair Styling. She loved her family, reading and crossword puzzles, and her beloved German Shepherd, Molly. Sandi touched the heart of every person she met. The family enjoyed going to Navarre Beach in Florida for over 50 consecutive years.

Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Rob Russell, parents, Cecil and Lillian Peters, and her brother, Tommy Peters.

Survivors: Daughter, Robyn R. Smith and husband, James; Son, Andy Russell and wife, Andreina; Grandchildren, Riley S. Leyva (Ronnaldo), Madison Smith, Alexandra Russell and Isabela Russell;
Great Granddaughter, Rayvn Leyva; Sisters, Carole Becton (Bill), Sherri Traylor, and Debbie Wills (Don);
Brother, Ken Peters (Gayle); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
