Sandra Godwin

Memorial Services for Sandra Jean “Nanny” Godwin, 74, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 19, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday.

Sandra Jean Godwin was born July 31, 1944, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away on July 16, 2019. She lived a full life and was loved by everyone she came in contact with.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Godwin; son, Jeffery Godwin; mother and father, C. J. and Margaret Barrett; great grandson, Brentley Godwin; and many other loved ones.

Sandra left behind her daughter, Deborah Godwin Kemper; son, Mark Godwin; grandchildren, Zach Godwin, Kassie Kemper, Misty Godwin, Heather Godwin, Destiny Godwin, Dalton Godwin and Jordan Eager; and nine great grandchildren.

She retired from St. Francis North. She loved having her nails and hair done, and she enjoyed arts and crafts. Sandra’s family was her entire world and so many memories were made with her loved ones.
