Funeral services for Samantha Ann Spencer Roark, 82, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Mickey Bounds officiating, with a private family interment following at Shanks Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Roark was born January 9, 1935, in Rayville, LA, and passed away, Sunday, December 10, 2017, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Our mother was God’s special angel sent to us. Her unconditional love and kindness touched so many lives and we will forever be blessed.

Mrs. Roark was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Eugene Roark; father, Arthur James Spencer; mother, Alice Marie Spencer; and brother, Arthur Leonard Spencer.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Ann Roark; son, Phil Roark and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Jordan Roark, Spencer Roark, Terrell Kincaid and Tucker Kincaid; sister, Sharon Tucker and husband Eddie.

Pallbearers will be Edwin Tudor, Todd Tudor, Chad Tudor, Jimmy Spencer, Jerry Robinson, Johnny Harrington, Gary Roberts, and Brad Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:30 AM until service time, Thursday, at the funeral home.
