Sam Stone

Funeral Services for Sam Stone, 67, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Burdeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Sam was born on February 1, 1949 in Bunkie, LA and passed away on October 5, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Sam is preceded in death by his parents. Claude C. Stone and Lucille T. Stone.

Survivors include his children, Sharlene Alexander and husband Heath, Steven Stone and wife Mandy, Shelley Stone and fiancé Jeff Jones; grandchildren, Brooklyn Alexander, Landis Alexander, Anthony Stone, C.J. Stone, Taysha Stone, Sammy Stone, Rylen Stone, Lynden Stone, Paislyn Stone, Aaliyah Stone, and Caven Stone; brother Michael R. Stone and wife Beverly; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be O.L. Gregory, Randall Gregory, Steven Anthony Stone, Christopher James Stone, Jay Stone and Heath Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Andrew Stone and Matt Stone.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, October 7, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
