Sadie EdwardsMulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mrs. Sadie Edwards, 91, of West Monroe, LA will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Mike McNatt and Rev. Stan Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Mrs. Edwards was born June 30, 1923 and passed away December 17, 2014. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and playing games with her family. Mrs. Edwards was a member of White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Edwards.Survivors include her daughters, Loraine Howard, Beckie Waltman and Janis Caskey; son, Charles David Edwards; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert McMullen and wife, Ann; sister-in-law, Anna McMullen; special friend, James Poe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Erik Risdal, Luke Saxon, Matt Russell, Darrel Waltman, Rodney Glenn Caskey, BJ Brown and Mike Russell.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
