Ruth Marie Robinson

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Marie Robinson, age 84, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2023 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Terry Ardizzone officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Forest, LA. Visitation will be held Monday, March 20, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ruth was born on September 28, 1938, in Eudora, Arkansas and passed away on March 16, 2023, in Monroe. She is a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She is a retired employee of 29 years at Manville/Riverwood and Ouachita Bank.   Mrs. Ruth was the purchasing agent at the West Monroe Mill where she was admired and practically ran the place.  She may have been short in stature but was full of life.  She loved her Pooh Bear and her family greatly.  Mrs. Ruth enjoyed watching the birds around the beautiful yard her husband kept manicured for her. 

Mrs. Ruth  is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald R. Robinson (Pooh Bear); daughters, Betty Musgrove, Susan Anderson and husband, Pete, Sharon Ardizzone and husband, Terry, and Leah Mundwiller; sons, Tommy Ellingburg and Joe Ellingburg; grandchildren, Meredith Jones, Michelle Tripp and husband Casey, Anna Marie Cochran and husband Zach, Brooke Minaberry and husband Matt, Michael Burgess and wife Amanda, Caleb Ardizzone, Micah Ardizzone, and Jace Mundwiller; great-grandchildren, Marrah Winningham and husband Brady, Chandler Jones, Autumn Cochran, Audrey Cochran, Emmersyn Burgess, and Kennedy Burgess; sisters, Shirley Martin, Delores Branstetter, and Pam Vail and husband, Bobby Dale, along with a host of precious nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Frank Holcomb; son in law, Charles Musgrove; brothers, Eddie Frank Holcomb and Arthur (Art) Lee Holcomb; brothers-in-law, Charles Blandford, Jim Martin, and John Branstetter; niece Tonya Holcomb.

Serving as pallbearers will be Pete Anderson, Casey Tripp, Zach Cochran, Micah Ardizzone, Brady Winningham, and Chandler Jones.
