Rusty Greer

Memorial Graveside Services for Rusty Greer, 63, of Eros, LA will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Greer was born on July 25, 1957 and passed away on December 27, 2020 at his residence in Eros, LA. He loved being outside and earned the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. Rusty loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them and his friends and also loved his dogs, Kora and Fred. Rusty was a jack of all trades but was a master of none. He was a Laborer by trade, but also worked for Manville Paper Company. He also worked for Culligian Water and was a supervisor with Moore and Associates. Rusty is preceded in death by his wife, Ina Ray Greer; grandparents, Alton and Bessie Kenly and Albert and Bobbie Greer; parents, Charles and Juanita Greer; step-daughter, Samantha Spillers and step-son, Bryan Spillers.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Diaz and husband, Alex of Cut Off, LA; step-daughter, Renee Spillers of Rodgers, AR; brother, Chris Greer and wife, Mary of Long Beach, MS; sister, Denise Harris and husband, David of West Monroe, LA; brother, Tracy Greer of Perdio Key, FL; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished cousins.

Due to the current conditions and regulations with Covid-19, services will be limited to family.
