Butch Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paschal’s Cemetery.Rudy was born on January 29, 1932 in Moncla, LA and passed away on October 20, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He is retired from Entergy after a 35 year career and the West Monroe Police Department after serving 25 years in the auxiliary. Rudy served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a member of The Assembly Church of West Monroe, American Legion, and the VFW. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel “Foy” Bordelon; parents, Lester Bordelon, Sr. and Evie “Reddin” Bordelon; brothers, James Bordelon, Raymond Bordelon, and Melvin Bordelon; and sister, Voncile Graves.Rudy is survived by his sons, Jeff Bordelon and wife Linda, Perry Bordelon; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Jerry Ann Cosby; brothers, Lester “Bubba” Bordelon, Jr. and Donald “Duck” Bordelon; and numerous other relatives and friends.Pallbearers will be Joshua Bordelon, Seth Bordelon, Ashley Foy, Bradley Foy, Scott Hicks and Justin Hicks.Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
