Rubye Herring DossettServices for Mrs. Rubye H. Dossett, 93, of Monroe will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Terry Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Dossett went home on January 19, 2016 at her residence. She was the oldest mother of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Dossett was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, H. F. “Pete” Dossett, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Dossett Marx, Monroe; son, H. F. “Bubba” Dossett, Calhoun; grandson, Shane Dossett and wife Jennifer, Monroe; granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Moncrief, Brooklyn, New York; two great grandsons, Thomas and Cole Dossett, Monroe, and a nephew, Rex Franklin Sanderson and wife Sharon, Houston, Mississippi.The family wishes to thank Dr. Dean Stockstill and staff for always taking the time to care and listen and do their best to cure; our angels on earth Joyce Y., Josie, Janice, Joyce R., and Mary for their round the clock care and love; to Miss Nita and Miss Renee of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care for services with love and dignity that went above and beyond any requirements; our church family who lifted all of us up with love, support, prayers and visits.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or Emmanuel Baptist Church Outreach Program.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
