Ruby Lois Moore

Funeral services for Ruby Lois Moore, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Swartz with Rev. Jeff Smart officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Moore passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, LA. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Swartz and retired from the Ouachita Parish School System after teaching for 30 years. Mrs. Moore was a loving mother, spouse, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen C. Moore, Sr.; and sister, Marie Slack.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Hill and husband Phillip; son, Allen C. Moore, Jr. and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Gina Hill Peoples and husband Ron and Brad Hill and wife Rebekah; great grandchildren, Alise Peoples, Drew Peoples, Molly Peoples and Jadon Hill.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
