Bo Bass

Royce Benard “Bo” Bass, 73, of Farmerville, LA, formerly of Monroe, LA, passed away January 16, 2023. He was born March 21, 1949.

Bo was a painter by trade, worked for Godina Painting. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Bo liked having a good time and drinking a good cold Budweiser. He was a kind, calm soul, who always carried candy in his pocket to give to children. Bo loved his family especially his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Glory Godina Bass; parents, Luther Bass and Dorothy Wilson Bass; three sisters,  Mary Lee Bass, Linda Ann Bass, Frankie Bass Coons; four brothers, Clevelan Bass, Jerry Bass, Bobby Bass, and Clyde Bass.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Bass; two sisters, Vickie Bass Godina and husband John, and Peggy Bass Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caring Hands Hospice and Arbor Labor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
