Roy Wayne Barber

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Roy Wayne Barber, 73 of Winnsboro, will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Chase Pentecostal Church with Bro. Billy Martin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.
Mr. Barber was born July 20, 1946 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2020. He was a member of Chase Pentecostal Church. Roy retired after 30+ years from the oil and gas industry as a crane operator. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, feeding his squirrels and birds, and sitting on his front porch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Benjamin Barber and Minnie Childs Barber; brother, Bennie Barber; and two sisters, Willie Mae Weaver and Mary Reynolds.
Survivors include his two daughters, Carla Hoggatt (Aaron), of Wisner, Cristy Taylor, of Wisner; five grandchildren, Ariel Hoggatt, Maurisa Hoggatt, Kreston Hoggatt, Ryan Wall and Krista Wall; sister, Bobby Garvis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
