Graveside Service for Mr. Roy James “Jimmy” Wood, Jr., 59 of Ruston, LA will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Earl Williams officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Wood was a Graduate of ULM, a New Orleans Policeman, and a Tennis Pro in New Orleans for many years before he moved to North Louisiana. He moved to North Louisiana in 1992 and has been running the Que Stick bar for the last 18 years.
Mr. Wood is survived by his son Trey Wood and his wife Kelly; sister, Linda Ellis and husband Robert, and nephew Robert Craig Ellis and wife Kerry.
Pallbearers will be Al Johnson, David Colvon, Jeff Cokeron, Jerry Grigson, Bobby Clide, and Russell Greer.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the funeral home.
