Brandon Cole
Funeral services celebrating the life of Brandon Cole, 39, of Bossier City, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday May 26, 2017 at the North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhart officiating. Interment will be in New Chapel Hill Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Brandon died May 24, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Brandon attended West Ouachita High School for 2 years, where he loved playing drums. He was active as a participant with Burn Camps of LA, and as a counselor. He then attended Sterlington High School his Jr. & Sr. year, where he was "the Drum line". Students gathered all around him as he performed solo during football games.
Brandon attended ULM and joined the prestigious Drum Line for 6 years. He was magnificent on his drums.
He moved with his daughter, Halley, and her mother, Tiffany, to various Texas cities playing his drums and working restaurants with his exuberant personality.
Brandon later moved back to Louisiana where he then met and married Holly Cole, and they were married on June 24, 2014. Holly was at his bedside and surrounded by family when he passed.
Brandon is predeceased by: maternal grandmother, Ruby Halbrook; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Halbrook; brother, Brad Cole; paternal grandfather, Norman Cole.
Survivors: wife, Holly Mae Cole; parents, Boyd and Judy Cole; daughter, Halley Drew Cole; step-daughter, Emma Marie Floyd; sister, Amber Christine Cole; grandmother, Ruth Evelyn Cole; mother-in-law, Susan Marie Young; sister-in-law, Rachel Kirby; nieces, Cheyenne Stephenson, Jordan Stephenson, Taylor Hyland, and Harli Cole; nephew, Braylon Cole; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Sam Durr, Jeffery (Gus) Stephenson, Huey Edwards, Eric Moore, Bo Toney, Shooter Shaw, Josh Estes, and Donald Duncan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mikhail Ballard, Chase Bostick, Randy Jones, Kenny Jones, Jason Jones, and Corey Scott.
Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at North Monroe Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Med-Camps for Burn Survivors.
