B. Hoggatt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, Arkansas. Mrs. Venters was born January 5, 1937 and passed away on October 8, 2014. She owned The Hen’s Nest for over 20 years. Rossie loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking for other people and also enjoyed working in her yard. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Evie Dixon; brother, Mack Dixon.Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Alva Ray Venters; children, Vickie Ann Tharp and husband, Jay, and Ray Venters, Jr. and girlfriend, Melissa Caples; grandchildren, Jason Tharp and wife, Lynnsey, Shelley Pack and husband, Andrew, Ashley Tharp, Ashley Caples, Charlie Toney and Holly Toney; 2 great-grandchildren, Jade and Keira Tharp; sister, Dovie Ann Grammer and husband, Dick; brothers, Jimmy Dixon and wife, Barbara, and Billy Wayne Dixon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
