Rose Irene Myers

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Rose Irene “Granny Myers” Myers, 95, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 4, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Scott Jennings and Rev. Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Mrs. Myers was born on June 10, 1926, in Bosco, LA and passed away at her residence with her family at her side on March 1, 2022. She was an Ordained Minister with a passion for sharing the gospel. Granny loved spending time with her family and being outdoors working in her yard. Mrs. Myers was a member of Living Water Full Gospel Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Augustus Hart; spouse, Carlston “Tob” Myers; grandson, Dustin Armfield; brothers, Earnest Albert Hart, Hurschel Malcolm Hart, George Nathan Hart, Francis Clyde Hart, John Clarence Hart, and Euel Odgen “PeeWee” Hart; and her sister, Margaret Ann Moreland.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Lee Myers and wife, Barbara of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Marilyn Myers Jordan and husband, Rev. Terry of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Carmen Womack and husband, Mike of Nesbit, MS, Pamela Williams and husband, Ronnie of Crestview, FL, Elizabeth Hubbard and husband, Todd of Murfreesboro, TN, Joshua Armfield and wife, Keisha of West Monroe, LA, Jonathan Armfield and wife, Rachel of Columbia, LA, Rachal Hollier and husband, Brandon of Oak Grove, LA, and Jennifer Martin and husband, Westley of Oak Grove, LA; sisters, Cathy Leggitt, Sarah “Duckie” Ebbesson and husband, Brent, and Shirley Redmon and husband, Jim; brother, Harlan “Buddy” Hart and wife, Betty; 21 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild to arrive at the end of March.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Armfield, Gentry Shaffer, Mike Womack, Noah Womack, Ronnie Williams, Todd Hubbard, and Micah Slaughter.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Friday, March 4, 2022.
