Funeral Services for Rosa Lee Thornton, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Butch Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe.Mrs. Rosa was born on April 3, 1926 in Picayune, MS and passed away on October 11, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. She was a lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church in West Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clell Thornton; parents, William and Frances Stockstill; son-in-law, Scott E. Berry; brother, W.J. Stockstill, Jr.; and sister, Frances Gay Bryant.Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Thornton Berry; 3 grandchildren, Tracy Hill and husband Tony, John Berry and wife Kelly, and David Berry and wife Lana; 5 great-grandchildren, Rye Hill, Drew Hill, Cody Berry, Caitlin Berry, and Thorn Berry; 2 step-great grandchildren, Kristal Stuckey and Karlie Stuckey; and 1 great-great grandchild, Nazralynn Hill.Pallbearers will be John Berry, David Berry, Bo Thornton, Thorn Berry, Johnny Ashbrook, and David Sellers.
