Funeral services for Ronnie A. Cook, 72, of Calhoun, LA., will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 27, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA., with Rev. Ottis Lenoir and nephew Gary Kimble officiating. Interment will be in the Northeast Louisiana Veteran Cemetery in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Cook was born on August 10, 1947 in Gandy, LA. and passed away on January 24, 2020 in West Monroe, LA. Ronnie loved fishing, cooking, rabbit hunting and raising his beagles. Ronnie was a jack of all trades mastering just about anything he set his mind to. Ronnie grew up in Gilbert, LA. and was a long-time resident of Denham Springs, LA., before retiring to his residence on Lake Concordia. He and his beloved wife had recently moved to Calhoun, LA., to be closer to their daughter. Ronnie never met a stranger and when you knew him he was your friend forever. He loved his family and friends. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, A.G. and Della Cook; sisters, Nira Lewing and Portia Kennon; brother, Charles Cook.


Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jeanne Cook; daughter, Veronica Cook (Shane Renwick); sisters, Betty Delrie, Elaine Fletcher; numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, and they loved their “Unk”.

Pallbearers will be Greg Hill, Mike Cook, Randy Kennon, Rick Delrie, Jimmy Kimble and Cory Lewing.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday January 27, 2020 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
