Funeral Services for Mr. Ronald V. Haile Jr., 69, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with his son-in-law, Richard Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.
Ronnie was born in Monroe, LA on September 26, 1941 and died on Thursday, March 24, 2011. He resided in West Monroe from his elementary years at Crosley School, attended West Monroe High School, Louisiana Tech University and Northeast Louisiana University. He was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandson, Ronald Connor Hance; parents, Vance and Hazel Peters Haile and by his sister, Charlotte Bourland.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Sandra Stancil Haile; three daughters, Kelly Haile, Robin Haile LaPietra and husband, Jesse and Terral Haile Anderson and husband, Richard; grandsons, Taylor, Chandler and Cole Hance, Zachary and Payton LaPietra, Colton, Trent and Drew Anderson; his prettiest granddaughter, Reagan LaPietra; and his wonderful mother-in-law, Bert Terral Stancil.
R.V. enjoyed his life’s work, and many friendships as he traveled Northeast Louisiana representing Haile’s Audio-Visual Supply, with sales to schools, school boards and media centers. He loved and lived life to the fullest with his family and friends hunting, fishing, golfing, and sports, especially watching his grandchildren participate in sports. Our lives will be forever blessed, enriched and enjoyed because of memories made, time shared, life’s lessons learned and most of all, love for and from Ronnie Haile.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Huntsman, Robert Cannon, Glen Harrelson, Charlie VanZile, Sidney Green, Clint Gebhardt, Louis Smith, Mel Fuglaar, Carl Dunn and Freddie Hamel.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
