Funeral Services for Ronald Ray, 70, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 12, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery, West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Ronald Ray was born on December 16, 1950, and passed away peacefully on December 9, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a brief illness. On that day, we lost the love of our lives. He was a true sportsman with the love of bass fishing and deer hunting. He lived his life with integrity and was a man of honor. Ronald was a graduate of West Monroe High School and also served in the National Guard.
Ronald is preceded in death by his loving parents, Tracy and Martha Ray; his twin brother, Donald; brothers, Clyde, Thomas Eugene, Shelby, and twin brothers, Herman and Sherman; and sister, Betty.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mary; Children, Tricia, Stephanie, MaryNell and Tommy; beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brothers, Julius Ray and wife Kay, and Harold Ray and wife Lottie; sister-in-law, Helen Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Todd Freeman, Rickey Martin, Keith Crenshaw, Mike Barkley, Charlie Murphy, and Ron Linder.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Tip Top Hunting Club and Clean Water Bass Club.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
