Ronald Paul Brubaker

Funeral Services for Mr. Ronald Paul Brubaker, 70, of Monroe, LA, will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 2, 2022, in the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Paul Solace officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 1, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA.

Ron was born August 24, 1951, in Johnstown, PA and passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Brubaker was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ernest and Phyllis Mae Heinze Brubaker; and his children, Thomas Andrew, Michael Menefee and Benjamin Paul Brubaker.

Ron was the peace maker in our family. He had a very calm demeanor and could see every side of a situation. Ron taught Art and English at Carroll High School. He was a brick mason by trade and took great pride in the many ponds and patios he designed. He was a great artist with a very unique style of painting. He has left us many of these treasures on canvas.

Besides being a wonderful husband, and great friends, he is a hero to our adopted daughter, Wesley Anne, whom has been with us since birth. He spent many hours teaching her, telling stories, painting and just being her playmate. He has documented his 4 ½ years with her with hundreds of photos and videos which are a reminder for us of this special man who touched so many lives.

Survivors include his wife Jen’na Aron; adopted daughter, Wesley Anne Brubaker; brothers, Barry Brubaker (Gloria) and Richard Brubaker (Joan); sister, Karen Wright (Peter); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Melton Moore, Todd Cagle, Tyler Brubaker, Jamie Cook, Jay Harvis, and Christopher.
