He loved to hunt, fish, and drink a cold beer. He loved the outdoors and gardening. He was in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved his grandchildren and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Lillian Reed Barnett; grandson, Dakota Barnett; and brother, L. C. Barnett.
He is survived by his son, Mickey Barnett of Baskin; 2 grandchildren, Gauge Barnett and Macie Barnett; daughter, Chassidy Barnett; sister, Jo Ann Barnett of Eldorado, AR; and brothers, Keith Nellams of Bastrop, LA and Jerry Barnett of Crossett, AR.
