Funeral Services for Mr. Rodney “Buddy” Haley, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Rick Crandall officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun.

Mr. Haley was born June 2, 1925 in Wesson, MS and passed away on April 29, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army 83RD Infantry Division during WWII. Mr. Haley retired from United States Steel. He was a member of McClendon Baptist Church and the Mature Melody Makers Choir. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sisters; his first wife, Dorothy Haley; and son, Danny Conaway.

He is survived by his wife of three years, Ann Haley; children, Rhonda Millsaps and her husband Jim, Thomas Conaway and his wife, Patricia, Carolyn Langley, and Keith Cloyd and his wife, Karen; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Edwin Turnage, Tommy Billiot, Ralph Owens, Ray Arthur, Ron Barfield, and Tom Moncrief.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McClendon Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund.
