Roberta Steele Eunson, 89, of Monroe, LA, went to her heavenly Father on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 2:00 PM at Grace Episcopal Church with The Rev. Gregg Riley officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:00 PM until service time at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilbourne Hall.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband John Ralph Eunson; parents, Paula Finley Steele and F.N. “Sticky” Steele; her brother and sister-in-law, Bruce F. Gregg, Sr. and Alice Lorraine Eunson Gregg; and nephew, Bruce F. Gregg, Jr.
Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a graduate of Neville High School and LSU with a BS in business. She was a member of Tri Delta, Monroe Junior League, Daughters of the King and the Louisiana Orchid Society. She was loved beyond measure and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her sons, John Steele Eunson and wife Sue, and William Cole Eunson; daughter, Paula Frances Eunson West; grandchildren, Melissa Eunson Young and husband Neal, Victoria Frances (Tori) Dugan and husband Mike, John Steele Eunson, Jr. (Jay), Christopher Travis Eunson and wife Brandy, and Scott Wesley Eunson; great grandchildren, Niles Patrick Young, Canon Donald Young, Michael James Dugan, Jr., Bristol Eunson and Khloe; nieces, Leigh Gregg Taylor and sons, Gregg and Russell, and his family; Lorraine Gregg McKinnie and husband Larry and their daughters, Meredith McKinnie Smith and husband William, and their daughter Wilder Reese, and Bonnie McKinney Graves, and her daughter Anabeth; nephew, Gordon Gregg and his wife Billie and their daughters, Natalie and Abby.
Pallbearers will be Wil Chapman, Neal Young, Canon Young, Niles Young, Jay Eunson, and Mike Dugan.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Napoli, Dr. Rittelmeyer, Dr. Frank Sartor, Dr. Frank Weinholt, The Oaks, Myrtis Young, and the nursing staff of St. Francis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
