Robert Reeves Bell

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Robert Reeves Bell, 91, of Monroe, will be held 10:00AM Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Martina officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mr. Bell died on February 4, 2017, at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Monroe.
Mr. Bell was an Army veteran of WWII, where he served in the military police. He was a member of Our Lady Fatima Catholic Church and a member of the Knight of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree, where he was the past Navigator, past Grand Knight, and life member of both. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Bell and his son, Edward Bell.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Bell of Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Susan Bell Radford and husband, Will of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Patrick J. Bell and wife, Jamie of Merryville, LA and Joshua Frazier of Baltimore, MD; and four great grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Radford, and Brett and Kirsten Bell.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday and a Vigil Wake service will be held at 6:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregivers, Sarah Smith, Angela Mays, Keithan Harris, Shon Shounova, and Shantelle Barfield.
